Sheffer, Grant Frederick
Born April 21, 1952 in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada passed away suddenly on December 25, 2016 at the age of 64. Predeceased by his father George Frederick, his beloved grandmother Louise Naden. Loved and missed by mother Kathleen Marilyn Sheffer, his brothers Keith, Glenn and Neil; his aunt Carolyn Lee of Regina; nephews Ryan, Dylan, Michael, Gregory, Caden & Josh; nieces Samantha and Caroline.
Grant worked at TRIUMF UBC for 37 years after graduating with BSC at SFU. Skied many times in Italy, also rock climbed and hiked with best friends Rinaldo (Italy) and Rico (Germany). His travels took him, thru TRIUMF, to many labs in the USA such as Los Alamos, FERMI, Long Island, Virginia, including Switzerland and Japan.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00am on January 28th, 2017 at Burquitlam Funeral Home. Special thanks to the Paramedics of Coquitlam, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
