Grant Stewart

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Grant Christopher Stewart. Grant, born to Bobby Stewart and Michelle Vanzetta passed away on February 3, 2025. He was 44. Grant is survived by his father, Bobby; stepmother, Lorri; Grandparents Mark and Helen Jones (from Calgary), sister, Blake; nieces Holly and Kenley; nephews Preston and Vaughn; along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins who cherished him dearly.

Grant was known for his vibrant personality and love of adventure from a young age. He was active in sports throughout his early years, excelling in baseball, basketball, soccer, and football. His love for life extended into his travels and work experiences. After high school, Grant moved to the United Kingdom to live with his biological mother, Michelle, where he spent seven years. During his time in London, Grant embraced the city's nightlife, working as a DJ in various nightclubs before transitioning to a career as a chef in London and Scotland.

Though Grant faced challenges in his adult life, particularly with mental illness, his family and friends will always remember him for his infectious smile, fun-loving spirit, and adventurous heart. His light shone brightly in all of the lives he touched, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
