GRAHAM, Irene Mary

Sadly, Irene passed away at The Belvedere Care Centre, Coquitlam, on Saturday, 22nd October 2016, at the age of 93.

Irene was born on the 17th October 1923 in Brantford Ontario. Devoted wife of the late William Cameron Graham (2003). Loving mother of Steven Graham. Survived by sister-in-law Betty Graham of London, ON sister-in-law Mary Pette of Southampton, ON and brother-in-law Larry Graham of London, ON. She is also survived by ten nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents George (1943) and Isabel (1934) Pette and her sister Pauline “Polly” Feeney (2016) and her brother Edward Pette (2010).

Irene cared little for material things. She valued the people she knew, and the people she called her friends above all else. She enjoyed nothing more than being in the company of those she loved and cared about. She believed that on her continuing journey she would be reunited with all the friends and loved ones she knew in her lifetime. It will be a large and joyful reunion.

At the request of the family there will be no funeral service. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada (www.alzheimer.ca).

Irene was married in London, ON in 1947, and always loved the city. No matter where she lived, she always thought of it as home. She cared little for material things. She valued the people she knew, and the people she called her friends above all else. She enjoyed nothing more than being in the company of those she loved and cared about. She believed that on her continuing journey she would be reunited with all the friends and loved ones she knew in her lifetime. It will be a large and joyful reunion.
