Reni Dagala passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones on Monday, December 22, 2014 at the age of 83. He is survived by his loving wife, Mercedes, his daughters, Zenaida Rollins, Belinda Carlaw, Evelyn Davey and Dee Tryon and their spouses, and 9 grandchildren: Jason, Laura, Stephanie, Stephen, Kyle, Olivia, Sarah, Joshua and William.
Reni lived a full life and leaves a legacy of a loving and strong spirit. Through his unmatched will, he made his way to Canada with $25.00 in his pocket. It is this determination that allowed his family to grow and flourish successfully. His love for his wife and daughters was immense. But his love and pride in his grandchildren was beyond measure. He lives in each one of them. He will be dearly missed, and will forever be in the hearts of him loving family. They are comforted in the knowledge that he is in the loving arms of God and is whole again in body and spirit.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at Calvary Baptist Church.
A very special thank you to the Belvedere Care Home staff who gave our dad the most wonderful care during his time there.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made the Michael J. Fox Parkinson’s Foundation, Parkinson Society Canada, or Pacific Parkinson’s Research UBC.
