It’s with much sadness that we announce the passing of Irma, a much loved Mamma, Nonna and Great Grandmother. She was born in Solagna, Italy, and passed away in Burnaby, the City that she had called home since 1973. She was predeceased by her husband of nearly 60 years, David, and daughter Maria (John). Irma is survived by her son Paul (Erdie), daughter Yvonne (Eric), grandchildren Amber (Colin), Kevin (Leanne), Robert (Marina), Laura (Carlo) and great grandson Dawson. We know that she will be missed by all of her family and friends.
Our mother’s love will never be forgotten. Her gentle touch and words of love will be felt and held in our hearts always. Her mind is now free to remember us on earth and to be embraced by her loved ones in Heaven.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at Holy Cross Parish, 1450 Delta Avenue, Burnaby, B.C.
In lieu for flowers the family has requested that donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of B.C.
