Jacqueline Mousseau

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother Jacqueline Mousseau (nee Hivon). Mom was born in St. Paul, Alberta and died peacefully surrounded by her family at Royal Columbian Hospital in New Westminster. She was predeceased by her Fabian in January 2000, and her eldest son Marc in November 1968. Mom devoted her long life to her family and was a calm and loving soul who never had an unkind word to say of anyone. With the generous help of her daughter Suzanne, she was able to live in in the family home until just days before her passing. She leaves behind her children; Monique, Jeannine, Patricia, Michael and his wife Barbara, Guy and his wife Diane, Emilie and her husband Andrew, Margaret, Suzanne, 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. The family is grateful for all the care mom received over the years from Dr. Tracy Monk, the care aides at TriCites, the nurses at Fraser Health and most recently the 5-north staff at RCH for their hospice care. A Funeral service will take place at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 315 Walker St. in Coquitlam on Saturday September 14, 2024, at 11:00am. Interment will be at Robinson Memorial Park and Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the BC Heart and Stroke Foundation.
