Noel Tolerton passed away peacefully at his residence at Dufferin Care Centre at the age of 91.
Predeceased by his wife Margaret and daughter Laura. Noel immigrated from Northern Ireland to Vancouver in 1956, his future bride followed him out the year after and they were happily married for over 60 years. Left behind to mourn him are daughter Ruth (Dave), son Jim (Maureen), grandchildren Matthew, Michael, Ashley, Shaelynn, and great granddaughters Ellie and Addison.
Noel spent over 40 years working at Western Belting and Hose. He was a lover of the outdoors especially his garden. He also loved camping by the sea, with Seal Rock campsite in the Olympic Peninsula being his favorite. He enjoyed sports playing rugby, field hockey and golf or just watching his grandchildren play.
A service for Noel will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday June 16th at Kearney-Columbia-Bowell Chapel 219 – 6th Street, New Westminster. Reception immediately following.
