It is with great sadness we are announcing the passing of our beloved Daughter, Sister, Wife, Mother, Aunt and Friend. Joan was born in Nova Scotia and moved to Burnaby, BC as a small child. Once married she settled in Port Moody and raised their family.
Predeceased by her Father Jack Chisholm. Joan is survived by her loving family; Husband Craig, Daughter Sheena (Tristan), Son Liam (Lauren), Mother Marguerite, Brothers Dan (Jennifer) in Ontario and Bill. Sisters Jackie (Clyde), Patricia (Pat), and Ann (Stephen). Sister-In-Law Gail (Ted), Joan's best friend Aunt Etta, her Aunt Mary, Uncle Wayne, Aunt Bea, Uncle Tom, Nieces and Nephews Shelly, Tracy (Jon), Natasha (Brandon), Justin, Melissa (Chad), Taylor (Terry) and Kent. Great Niece Alexis and Great Nephew Winston. All her Aunts, Uncles and cousins and friends in BC, Vancouver Island, Nova Scotia and USA. Her Special Cousins Cathy Chisholm, Randey (Alice) Brophy, Ardell Brophy, Her bunko and walking friends, and the Mom's from the Neighborhood.
Joan's smiling face will truly be missed in our lives, but will be forever loved and in our hearts. Service is February 28, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Burquitlam Funeral Home 625 North Rd, Coquitlam, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations to BC Heart and Stroke Foundation.
