Joan Croll

Our hearts are deeply saddened by the death of our most-loved wife, mother, and grandmother, Joan Christina Victoria Croll (nee, Thomson) died on July 26th, 2013 in Mission, B.C.  Joan was born in Montreal in 1933 and lived there until she moved to British Columbia with her best friend and cherished husband, Bill, and their two children, Susan and Tom, in 1972.

Joan loved her working life and her most enjoyable years were spent at the B.C. Ministry of Health.  She and Bill were proud Burnaby residents until 2005 when they moved to Mission. She is survived by her husband Bill, children, Susan (Jim), Tom (Donna) and grandchildren (Lee, Tyler, Tyson, Nathan) who will miss her deeply.

The family wants to thank all of the staff and volunteers at the Christine Morrison Hospice in Mission for their care for Joan and their support to her family during the last weeks of her life. A memorial service will be held on Thursday August 1st at 2:00pm at the Burquitlam Funeral Home, 625 North Road, Burnaby.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the Christine Morrison Hospice are greatly appreciated.
