Passed away peacefully October 4, 2013 surrounded by family. A most loving and faith-filled devout Catholic, Josefa was born July 14, 1925 in Samal, Bataan, Philippines. She moved to Canada in December 1985 and has lived in Coquitlam with her family since. She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Enrique on December 26, 2012. She will be greatly missed by her family: sons Raymond (Elizabeth) and Emmanuel (Teresita); daughters, Maria Adoracion and Maria Socorro (James Morgan); grandchildren: J. Miguel, Robert, Theresa and Michaela; adopted son, Fr. Gabriel de Chadarévian, O.P. and many extended family and friends.
Prayers will be offered at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 315 Walker St. Coquitlam, on Wednesday, October 9 at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, October 10 at 10:30 a.m. also at Our Lady of Fatima Church; main celebrant, Fr. Gabriel de Chadarévian, O.P. Interment to follow at St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery, New Westminster. You have left us a precious legacy of faith and love...we will always love you, Lola!
