June McGuigan passed away peacefully in Coquitlam on September 7, 2024, at the age of 90. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, cousin, aunt and friend, she was known for her care, thoughtfulness, wit, wisdom and indomitable spirit. She will be lovingly remembered by her son Jim (Jennifer) and daughter Judy, grandson Alexander; brother Bob (Barbara) and brothers-in-law Dan McDougall; Dick Mulholland (Connie); Paul Hough and sister-in law Betty-Ann (Bennett) Mulholland, along with many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
June was born in Drumheller, Alberta on May 12, 1934 to the late William (Bill) and Jennie Hospodarec and was predeceased by husband James (Jim) McGuigan, daughter-in-law Sonia Hvam, brother James (Jim) Hospodarec, sister Olga Bertram, brothers-in-law Dave Bertram, David Mulholland and sister-in-law Sheila McDougall.
Prayers and interment will be held on Friday, September 20, 2024 at Robinson Memorial Park Cemetery in Coquitlam, BC. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to the Royal Columbian Hospital Foundation.
