Lena Jeannette Marie Chabot

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lena Jeannette Chabot. She passed away peacefully on January 10, 2026 at the age of 92. She will be dearly missed by her children; Marcel (Carmen), Eddie, David, Irene (Greg) Bilodeau; her grandchildren Jessica (Andrew) Prost, Mallory (Dustin) Breaks, Sean (Chantal) Roane, Dayna (David) Barks, Dayne Chabot, Darian Chabot, Nicole Bilodeau; great-grandchildren Elizabeth Breaks, Dominic Barks, Annabel Breaks; brother Jacques (Carmen) Perron; many nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond Chabot, her parents Odilon and Lea Perron, sisters Emilia Lafreniere, Clotilde Beauregard, Martha St. Cyr, Marielle Wunderlich and brother Louis Perron.

We wish to thank Dr. M. Prem-Smith for her wonderful care, Dr. A. Bohorquez who faithfully went to see Lena every three months for the last 10 years to manage her pain from her stroke. We are immensely grateful to all the amazing staff and volunteers at Baillie House who took great, loving care of Lena. She loved them all.

Prayers will be offered on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at 6 pm at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 315 Walker Street, Coquitlam, BC. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, January 22, 2026 at 11 am. Rev. Richard Au-Celebrant. Interment to follow at Valley View Cemetery, Surrey, BC.
