Marcela Trandafir

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marcela Trandafir, 87 year old. She went into God's arms peacefully on February 28 2026 in New Westminster. Marcela was born on October 10, 1938, in Arad - Romania.

Marcela is survived by her beloved husband, Teodor Trandafir; her two children, Cristian and Luminita; her cherished grandchildren, Roxana, Diana, and Stefan; and her precious great-grandchildren, Tatiana and Marcelo.

Marcela’s greatest joy in life was her family. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren deeply, and nothing brought her more happiness than seeing them grow and thrive. Her love extended to all children, which she showed throughout her 36 years as a dedicated and caring teacher. She was known for her patience, kindness, and the genuine care she gave to every child she taught.

Her faith was a guiding light throughout her life. Marcela held her love for Christ close to her heart and lived as a devoted Orthodox Christian.

Marcela will be remembered for her warmth, her deep faith, and the love she shared so generously with her family and community. She will be greatly missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those who loved her.

A special thank you to all the staff at New Vista Care Home and doctors and nurses from Burnaby & Royal Columbian Hospitals.

Cu inimile cernite de durere, anunțăm trecerea în neființă a soției, mamei, bunicii si străbunicii noastre, Marcela Trandafir, 87 ani. A trecut la Domnul  pe 28 Februarie 2026 în New Westminster,

Marcela s-a născut pe 10 Oct.1938 la Arad - România.

Marcela lasă în urmă pe iubitul său soț, Teodor Trandafir, pe cei doi copii, Cristian si Luminița, pe mult iubiții ei nepoți, Roxana, Diana si Ștefan, dar și pe scumpii ei strănepoți, Tatiana si Marcelo.

Cea mai mare bucurie a mamei noastre a fost familia și a dorit întotdeauna binele tuturor, mai ales al copiiilor, nepoților si strănepoților, participând activ la creșterea și educarea lor.

Deasemeni, Marcela a fost un dascăl de valoare, dedicându-si peste 36 de ani din viață intr-o frumoasă carieră didactică și profesională.A fost o profesoară foarte apreciată, iubită și stimată de toți elevii si colegii , rămânând în amintirea lor pentru totdeauna.

Credința Sfânta i-a luminat calea intreaga viată, iar Domnul nostru Iisus Hristos i-a fost și îi este aproape intotdeauna, ca unui adevărat creștin in Ortodoxie.

Draga noastră Marcela va fi mereu în amintirea noastră, așa cum o știm, plină de dragoste, dăruire și credință, cu nemărginită iubire pentru familia sa, și pentru toți care au iubit-o.

Adresăm multe mulțumiri intregului colectiv de la New Vista Care Home, doctorilor si asistentelor medicale de la spitalele Burnaby si Royal Columbian și nu in ultimul rând, multe mulțumiri pentru tot ajutorul primit de la bisericile ortodoxe române Sfânta Treime,  Sfântul Nicolae, si Sfântul Gheoge din Lowermainland.
