Marcella Andrews

Marcella Clara Maria Andrews (Hihn) born Sept 26,1936 in Spring Lake Alberta to George and Anna Hihn. The fourth of five children. She passed away peacefully at home Feb 22, 2014.

Predeceased by her parents and her husband Edward Leo Andrews. Lovingly remembered by her sisters Leona Worth (Ted), Millie Deck (Mike) and her brothers Elmer Hihn and Joe Hihn (Amelia), Daughter Kelly, Sons Perry (Cheryl + Rob), Barry (Josephine + Jeanette, Megan, Anthony) and Bradley and many nieces and nephews.

She married Edward Leo Andrews October 11 1961.
Hers was a life spent not for herself but in service of her family and church. She was a longtime member of the Catholic Women's League and Lector. She spent countless hours as hockey mom, soccer mom and baseball mom. She enjoyed many happy hours crafting and quilting.

When her husband was taken from her far too soon in 1984 she worked even harder to take care of her children alone.

Although her final years were spent in sickness they were not spent in despair. There was always a smile or a twinkle in her eye if you knew when to look.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Parkinson Society Canada in her memory are greatly appreciated.
