Margaret Blewett

August 10, 1934 — April 7, 2015

Joyce will be forever loved and missed by Milton, her devoted husband of 60 years; son Fred (Barb); daughter Catherine (Francois); grandchildren Katie (Tyler), Todd (Ariana), Lucas (Michelle), and Alex; and a great-grandchild on the way. She is also survived by her brothers John and Art Rowse, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Ross and Joyce Blewett, and a large extended family. Also sadly missing Joyce are the many friends she cherished; her stitch-and-bitch gals, her dear friend and walking buddy Jeanne, her swimming group, the extended Car Club, the early-days hydroplane racing crew, her childhood friends from New West, and her friends from Pitt Lake and the neighbourhood.

Joyce was born and raised in New Westminster, and she and Milton raised their family in Coquitlam. Joyce was a caring and thoughtful women. She lived a good life and had many memorable experiences, including trips with Milton to many Canadian and world-wide destinations. Summer adventures at the Pitt Lake cabin were always great fun, and she loved entertaining and family gatherings. Joyce especially took pride in the achievements of her grandkids.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joyce's memory, to the Canadian Cancer Society or to Crossroads Hospice.
