"Sally" was a wonderful kind, caring wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to all. Born in Ste Rose, Manitoba, raised nearby on the family farm in Laurier . After her schooling she honorably Daggitt, Solange
served in the Canadian Army, during WW II. After completing her service, she met and married the love of her life Patrick Daggitt. They lived and worked in St. Boniface, Man., later moving with their children to Victoria, BC in 1968 and then to Port Moody, BC. Sally enjoyed her many years of employment across various departments as a French Designate with the Canadian Government. Sally was blessed with a life full of joy and happiness.
She was pre-deceased by her loving husband Patrick and her brothers, Aime. Francis and Raymond.
Sally will forever be loved and missed by her family Reg Daggitt, Kathy Daggitt, Marie & Bill Vale , her 3 grandchildren Eric, Ryan, Patrick , their spouses Sarah, Trisha, Jennifer, 5 great-grandchildren; her sisters Adrienne, Elaine, Isabel, Marie; her brothers Gilbert and Edward; all her extended Van Humbeck family and many dear and cherished friends.
Prayers will be said at Our Lady of Assumption Parish in Port Coquitlam during the 11 AM Mass on Sunday, September 16th. A Celebration of Her Life is planned on December 8th at the family home in Port Moody. A special thank you to the thoughtful dedicated staff at the Dufferin Care Centre.
