McSTAY, Marie Gwendolyn
Born November 11, 1926 in Airdrie Alberta, passed away peacefully September 10, 2013 in Regina Saskatchewan. Predeceased by her husband Bruce Francis Sr. (1975). Survived by her sister Lilyan Don (Bill) children Bruce McStay (Sharron), Brian McStay (Linda) and Tracey McStay; Grandchildren Bruce, Bob (Darci), Alexander (Linda), Creag (Karla), Brianne (Matt), Sean (Nicki) and Alicia (Guthrie); Great grandchildren Austin, Marcus and Sophia and many nieces and nephews.
Mother will be remembered for her love of her family. Her grandchildren remember her ability to keep them smiling. She preferred to be at our summer cabin on the lake where she indulged in her joy of gardening, bird watching and her dog. Mother was a proud homemaker, efficient at her work during her career and enjoyed her retirement visiting with her family. We find solace in knowing that she and our dad are united once more. Their love is an example to us all.
We also wish to acknowledge the special care our mother received from Grace Hospice, Pasqua palliative care and Pasqua ward 4A in Regina.
