Michael Jason Taylor

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Michael "Mike" Jason Taylor. 

Mike passed away in the St. Paul’s Hospital, in Vancouver, British Columbia, on June 20, 2025.

Mike was born on March 1,1974. He grew up in Trenton, Nova Scotia. At an early age he decided he wanted to travel. He would hitchhike from town to town always looking for the next adventure.

Eventually, he settled down and resided in British Columbia where he could be close to his daughter. He loved fishing, joking to make people laugh and sharing his art talents with everyone through his drawings. He was such a nice, genuine person to everyone, and is gone way too soon. He will be loved and missed dearly by his family.

Mike is survived by his daughter Sheila Taylor-Schwab, Mother Carolyn Taylor, Sisters Christena (James ) Avery, Donna (Mike) MacDonald, Jessica Taylor (Alex Cyr), grandson Declan, many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his father Richard Taylor.

Cremation has taken place. A family celebration of life will be held at a later date.

The family would like to thank the staff of St Paul’s ICU for their care and kindness is when he needed it most.
