Michela Lena Della Penna

It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Lina, our dear mother, mom, mama, Nonna, grandmother and bisnonna/great grandmother. Born in Vasto, Italy. Lina immigrated to Canada in 1959 joining her husband Joe (deceased), and settled in Revelstoke, BC. The family eventually relocated to Vancouver with their young children. She is survived by ; daughters Angela (Celenza) and Sandra (Fennings) and sons Mario and Robert.

Also missing Lina are her six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, siblings Lucia, Cesare, Gino and Maria, son-in-laws, daughter-in-law and extended family and friends. Lina prioritized her family, friends, and her spirituality. She was a woman of faith and remembered as a loving, caring and compassionate person. Always the queen of her kitchen she doted on every meal.

Memorial service will be held Tuesday, May 19th at 10am at Westwood Community Church – 1294 Johnson Street, Coquitlam, BC.
