Mirela Gogoase

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Mirela Gogoase (born Toma), aged 56, on June 18, 2025. She passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family and loved ones.

Mirela was born in Galați, Romania, and later made her home in Canada. She was a woman of great strength and warmth, who approached life with grace, and courage. Mirela loved to travel and had a special fondness for British television shows, which brought her joy and comfort.

She is predeceased by her beloved mother, Ioana. Mirela is survived by her loving husband, Gabi; her father, Vasile; her cherished daughter, Andreea, and son-in-law, Filip; and her precious granddaughter, Emilia. She will also be dearly missed by her brother, Nicolae, and his wife, Elena; her nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and many friends.
