Nancy Garrard

GARRARD, Annie Patricia (Nancy) passed away peacefully on October 6, 2013 at the age of 81. Predeceased by her loving husband Ted in 2011. Loving and missing her are her daughters, Susan (Bruce) and Linda (Nathen); grandchildren, Colin (Lindsay), Amy, Mathew (Claire), Rory (Josie), Brandon (Ange), January (Mitch); great-grandchildren, Stephanie, Shaemus, Brielle, Callum, Olivia, Connor, Caitlin, Jean Luc, Michelle, and Benoit; her faithful companion Sadie; as well as many other relatives and friends in England, Ireland, Australia, and Canada. Nancy had deep faith, love of family, love of travel, loved gardening, hummingbirds, and getting the better of all she met with her crafty sense of humour. A special thank you to all the staff at Crossroads Hospice for the loving care you showed Nancy during her stay there. Evening prayers will be held at 7:00 pm on Thursday, October 10th, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 am on Friday, October 11th at St. Clare of Assisi Parish, 1320 Johnson Street, Coquitlam. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the BC Lion’s Society for Children with Disabilities or St. Clare of Assisi’s Building Fund.
