It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Neva on February 10, 2015. She passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with lung cancer.

Neva was predeceased by parents Gordie and Suzie Mastine and her brother Neil. She is loved and missed by her husband Brian O’Donnell and children Nadine and Lee and her brother, Russell Mastine.
Neva was a homemaker while her children were young and then worked as a caregiver at Canadian Living Society and as a teacher’s assistant for special needs children at the North Vancouver School Board.

A service will be held at the Burquitlam Funeral Home chapel on February 17 at 2 pm, followed by a Celebration of Life memorial at the Shadbolt Centre for the Arts from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm.

Thanks to the team at the Chemotherapy Clinic at Lions Gate Hospital and the Burnaby Palliative Care team. Thanks also to our family and friends and to the Prism Engineering family for all your support and kindness.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Covenant House, or the charity of your preference.
