Paul Seitz

Paul Otto Seitz , 77 years old, passed away unexpectedly, on Saturday March 30th, 2013, at Pitt Lake in Pitt Meadows, British Columbia. Paul was visiting a memorial for his eldest son, Marcus, who passed away tragically 28 years prior. Paul was in the loving hands of his wife when he died, in a place that was dear to his heart.

Paul was born to Otto and Elizabeth Seitz on June 16th, 1935 in Stuttgart, Germany. Paul began a long career in carpentry and construction. Paul met and married the love of his life, Brigitte (Giesen) Seitz in 1963 and decided to make Port Moody, BC their home. Together, they had 2 sons, Marcus and Quintin. Paul was very proud the day he became “Opa”. He loved to spend time with family, especially his two grandchildren, Paige and Evan. Paul enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. He was an adventurous man who loved to camp, fish, ski, to travel with his wife, and spend time at his cabin on Hornby Island.

Paul is survived by his “Angel” and wife, Brigitte Seitz, son, Quintin (Shannon) Seitz, and his two loving grandchildren, Paige and Evan Seitz. Paul is predeceased by his parents, and his eldest son, Marcus Seitz.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 13th, 2013 at 10:00 am at Burquitlam Funeral Home, 625 North Road, Coquitlam, BC.
