Peter Stanley Grabowski

Peter Stanley Grabowski was born in Szczecin, Poland, on June 2, 1952, and passed away at home in December 2025. He is survived by his sons, David (Nicole) and Michael, and his grandchildren, Neve and Eoin. He was predeceased by his mother, Stella; his sister, Kazia; his father, Jan; and his sons, Brian and Stephen.

Peter emigrated from Poland in 1959 and grew up in Victoria, British Columbia, excelling in athletics, especially basketball. He later moved throughout the province with his young family while working with BC Hydro. Coquitlam eventually became his long-time home, where he lived for the past 42 years.

Peter loved golfing, travelling, and sharing kindness and laughter around the dining room table with friends and family. He particularly enjoyed doing his morning crossword with a cup of coffee. His steady nature and care for his family will be remembered with warmth. A celebration of life will be held in the New Year, with details to follow.
