It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Rafaela ‘Nanay’ Hombrebueno on December 12, 2012, in Coquitlam, British Columbia. Rafaela was predeceased by her father Filemon Pajarillo; mother Maria Abriol Pajarillo; siblings Pura, Julita and Monching; and husband Armando 'Tatay' Hombrebueno. Left to celebrate her life and legacy are her children Evelyn (Florante), Agnes (Nestor), Iris (Ueli), Armando Jr. (Maritess), Mario (Tess), Ricardo (Romilla), Jesse, Jose (Jacqueline), Raymund (Crisanta), Nestor (Isabella); grandchildren Patricia (Kristopher), Ryan (Adele), Rolf, Yvette, Colin, Stephanie, Mark, Nicole, Jayme, Tamara, Brandon, Katrina, Cassandra, Joshua, Carlos, Christian, Miguel, Isabel, Rachelle, Gabriel, Raphael; and great grandchildren Jayme, Isaiah and Cielo. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, December 18 from 7 – 9 pm at the Burquitlam Funeral Home, 625 North Rd, Coquitlam followed by a Mass of Catholic Burial on Wednesday, December 19 at 10:30 am at Our Lady of Lourdes, 828 Laval Square, Coquitlam and entombment at The Gardens of Gethsemani Cemetery & Mausoleum, 15800 - 32nd Ave, Surrey.
