FREDERICK, Richard Stephen (Rick)
April 29, 1955 - October 16, 2015
My best friend, my husband, my soul mate, my love sadly left this world on October 16, 2015.
What's left is an immeasurable hole that will never be filled.
Rick was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He came to Vancouver when he was 24 to start a new life.
Shortly after, we met, we fell in love and a year later we were married.
Rick deeply loved his family, his dear friends, and his loving nieces and nephews here and in Winnipeg.
He had a keen intellect, sharp wit and a gentle soul.
He was a voracious reader, especially loving literature, one of his favourite authors being Alice Munro.
He loved to write stories, beautiful heart breaking stories.
Music and lyrics were other passions, from Rock to Classical and everything else in between.
He loved nature, being in the mountains, swimming in the lakes, walking the trails, sitting on the beach....
He loved the innocents, the children and the animals who don't want to hurt or to hurt anyone.
He loved me... Goodbye my sweet; we will be together again, Love, Pea
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, November 21 at 2:00 p.m. at the Burquitlam Funeral Chapel, 625 North Road, Coquitlam, B.C.

“Have compassion for everyone you meet, even if they don't want it.
What seems conceit, bad manners, or cynicism is always a sign of things no ears have heard, no eyes have seen.
You do not know what wars are going on down there where the spirit meets the bone. ― Miller Williams
