Robert H. Stevens May 7th, 1931-October 7th, 2014

The family of Robert Harvey Stevens announce his quiet passing on October 7th 2014.

Predeceased by his first wife Judy (nee Swan), son Robert Edward Stevens Jr. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Norma Stevens, brother William S. (Bill) Stevens and his wife Ann, daughters Susan (Jim) Godey and Elizabeth (Gordon) Letham, Susan and Colin Cook and Beverly Reid. Grandchildren Allison Godey (Tony Anderson), Kelsey Letham (Chris Graham), Mark Letham, Graham Cook, Alexandra Cook and Sam Reid and cousins, nieces and nephews.

Bob had a successful career with B.C. Telephone Company. His legacy of fairness, inclusiveness and keen business acumen will be remembered by all those who worked with him.

In retirement, Bob and Norma were instrumental in establishing The Huntington Society of Canada. Honoured with many awards for his advocacy of those with Huntington Disease recently he was a recipient of the Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Medal for volunteerism.

Memorial Service will be held at the Burquitlam Funeral Home, 625 North Road, Coquitlam, B.C. on October 18th, at 2:00pm followed by a reception.

Flowers gratefully declined. A donation to The Huntington Society of Canada, B.C. Chapter, 400-151 Frederick Street, Kitchener, Ontario N2H 2M2 would be appreciated
