Mike Wilson

On December 10th at Eagle Ridge Hospital (MIKE) Wilson passed away after three years of very ill health. He was surrounded continuously during his last days by his wife of 28 years, Betty-Gail Wilson, Linda Wilson, daughter and Joanne Cook step daughter. We kept a promise to never leave him alone so we continuously held his hands and helped to sooth him in every way we hoped would help.

Mike leaves an extended family which includes David and Vivienne Wilson, his brother and their families and his sister Betsy and Dennis Cooke and their families. He inherited a large family of Colliers unpon marriage to Betty- Gail.

Mike leaves his wife of 28 years (Betty-Gail), daughter Linda Martin and granddaughters Alyssa and Heather. He has son Ken Wilson, wife Lorri and grandson Ryan who live in Kamloops, BC. He also leaves his step daughters Joanne, and Lisa Hancher who were also very close to him. He was blessed with two more grandsons Grandson Corey Cook and wife Cheryl plus now two great Grandchildren, Devon and Madison and Grandson Michael Cook and Ashley plus 3 more great grandchild , Summer, Hailey and Kaitlynn. Plus stepson Derek Grieve's family Kimi and daughter Claira. Mike's Aunty Marie was always special to us and happy to say she is still with us. Mike was predeceased by his stepson Derek Grieve on December 24, 2000 age 36.

Memorial service will be held at Burquitlam Funeral Chapel on Monday, December 28, 2015 at 2 pm with tea to follow.
