Passed away peacefully with loved ones by his
side, into the arms of Jesus on January 6, 2013 at
the age of 74. Survived by three children Lynne
Boyd, Jim (Sue) Briggs, Lisa (Ray) Blanchette;
brother Ken (Lydia) Briggs; sister Judy (Roberto)
Paccagnan; nephews Stephen, Robert and
Michael; niece Stephanie; nine grandchildren,
Donna, Allison, Matthew, Carl, Mitchell, Courtlyn,
Tanner, Josh, Ashleigh, Sarah; and greatgrandchildren
Cole and Jasmyn. Roger was a
retired Royal Canadian Navy Sergeant who served
17 years before his honorable medical discharge in
1971. Roger was an avid HAM Radio Operator.
Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday,
January 12, 2013 at Burquitlam Funeral Home,
625 North Road, Coquitlam, followed by interment
at Robinson Memorial Park Cemetery, 621
Robinson Street, Coquitlam. In lieu of flowers,
donations may be made to Canuck Place
Children's Hospice.
