Ronald Macmurchy

Ron MacMurchy passed away peacefully October 30, 2015 at the age of 102. Ron was born May 12, 1913 in Consul, Saskatchewan. He arrived in BC in 1936 and has lived in Mission, Williams Lake, and Coquitlam. Ron was a sawyer and construction worker by trade and enjoyed many games of crib with his family members, playing the harmonica, and telling stories of his family in the pioneer times. He was predeceased by his parents, George and Jane Ellen, his wife Ruby, brothers Norman, Donald, George, sisters Hazel and Reita, sons Ken and George, and grandsons Ronald and Denis. He is survived by his daughter Carol, daughters in law Irene and Sharleen, grandchildren Keith (Rachel), Wendy (Anthony), Lanie, and Jason (Talia), great grandchildren Brandon, Geneva (Trevor), Jacqueline, Kai, and Nash, and great-great granddaughter Kinley, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
