ZINKO, RONN KENNETH

Ronn was born in Vancouver on March 5, 1949 and passed away suddenly at home on December 17, 2014 at the age of 65. Predeceased by his father Steve, his mother Pauline and his daughter Ashley. Survived and loved by his sister Deanna White (Graham) and nephew Jason. Deeply missed by Marilee, Shayla and Godson Kynan.

Ronn Zinko was the Western Regional Sales Manager of MediaNet by Casale Media a Canadian based online Media and Technology Company. His career in media sales spanned more than 25 years as he worked with a wide variety of regional, national and international advertising clients. Previously Ronn represented some of the leading publishers in the country including Reader’s Digest, Toronto Star, Canadian Geographic, Your Money magazine and was a founding partner in Equity Magazine.

Ronn was a professional studio and touring musician including a producer of award winning radio and television jingles in Canada and the U.S. In his younger years Ronn travelled to Provo, Utah and participated in the Little League World series baseball championships as well as touring with the White Spot Pipe band as a drummer. As another accomplishment he received a Queen Scout Certificate and later played drums with the band Sunshyne and Spectres.

Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm on December 27, 2014 at the Burquitlam Funeral Home, 625 North Road, Coquitlam. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice
