Samuel Lawrence

On May 5, 2013, S. Roy Lawrence, November 10, 1921 -May 5, 2013, passed peacefully away. He is survived by his son Gordon, grandchildren, Kim, Jill , Courtney and great grandchildren, Graeme, Cassidy, Allison, Callie and Rhys. He has gone to join his beloved wife Margaret, (Snow). He will be greatly missed by all those who knew him, but particularly the gang in the back stretch at Hastings Park Racing, where he was a fixture for years. He was particularly proud of his active service in the RCN and the RCNR over the years. And even after all these years in B.C. he still couldn’t cheer for the Canucks
