BREMNER, Sheila MAY (Fevang)
Sheila was born in High Prairie, Alberta on May 9, 1926 and passed away in Port Coquitlam, BC on August 8, 2024 at 98 years old.
She had a long, illustrious career with BC Electric/BC Hydro retiring in 1983 after 38 years. She & Les were charter members of the Burnaby Winter Club and founding season ticket holders for the BC Lions when they started out at Empire Stadium. They were great travelers, having seen much of the world including taking over 30 cruises.
Sheila was predeceased by her beloved husband of 59 years Leslie Bremner, her parents Sigborn & Mollie (Stewart) Fevang, sister Thelma Alger (Albert), nephews Robert & Douglas Alger and brother-in-law Ronald Bremner as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
She will be lovingly remembered by her sister Kathryn White (Bill), brother-in-law Denis Bremner (Chris), nieces Shirley (Alger) Peters (Rus), Cari (White) Dimora (Vince), Kim (Bremner) Musselman (Lyle), Leah (Bremner) Royle (James), nephews Donald Alger (Donna), Mike White, Lance Bremner (Noreen) and special friends Mike & Gail Shields and Cheryl Wiesner.
Her family would like to thank the staff at the Nicola Lodge for the care they have shown to Sheila over the last year.
There will be a private memorial to be held at a later date.
