Shirley passed away peacefully on June 21st, with family by her side. She leaves to mourn her passing her husband of 60 years, Robert, and children Joanne (Daryl), Marty, Murray, Lindsay and David, nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She also leaves her sister Dorothy Brann, extended family of sisters Helen, June, Gail, and brother Garry, Shatford, and adopted sister Betty Miller.
Shirley was born on a farm near Biggar, Sask, moving to B.C. in 1946. She married her high school sweetheart Bob in 1954. A celebration of life will be held on July 18th, 2015, at Burquitlam Funeral Home, 625 North Rd. Coquitlam B.C., at @ 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of B.C.
