Susan Rooney

Susan was born in Saltcoats, Saskatchewan on July 27, 1931, daughter of Margaret and John Rooney. She moved to Vancouver in 1950 and worked at BC Telephone for 28 years. She is predeceased by her daughter Catherine Shaw (Morry) in 1997. She will be dearly missed by John Morry, daughter Linda Anderson and son-in-law Ed; grandchildren Rachel and Sara Shaw, Kerry and Kyle Anderson; Susan leaves behind siblings Margaret, Sarah, Eileen, Josephine, Nicholas and Sheila and will reunite with Mary, Catherine, John, Ann, James, Patrick, Bridget, Rosaline, nieces and nephews, family and friends that have gone before her.

Funeral Service will be held at 5 o’clock on Monday, September 9, 2013 at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, 3141 Shaughnessy St., Port Coquitlam, BC. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to the Crossroads Hospice Society.
