Mom was born & raised in Elie, Manitoba into a loving French Canadian family. She had 7 brothers & 3 sisters.
She met Lucien from St. Eustache when he came back from serving in WW2 in Europe. They got married in 1946 & then lived in St. Eustache & St. Boniface where Linda, Luizs, & Claude were born. In 1953, they moved to Coquitlam, B.C. along with her brother Butch & his family. Our family moved to Edgar Ave., where Ronald was born, then they built a house on Stewart Ave., where we lived for many years & where Michelle was born. Years later, they moved back to Edgar Ave., into Luizs & Denis’ suite & lived there for many years.
We belonged to our Lady of Fatima Parrish where we went to school & Church.Mom belonged to The Ladies of St. Anne & dad was a Knight of Columbus.
Mom was always sweet & loving. She was a great wife, mom, sister, cook, confidante, & friend. She hosted many family dinners as well as family gatherings.
Mom worked at Eaton’s in New West. & then at The Bay Distribution Center in Burnaby.
Mom & dad enjoyed gardening, bowling, dancing, camping, travelling, as well as hosting many relatives from out of town.
