William Allison

William (Bill) Allison, beloved husband to Lorraine, and dad to Colleen (Mark), passed away in Burnaby, BC on August 17, 2014, aged 85 years. Bill moved to Vancouver from Halifax in 1947 and met Lorraine working at the Robert Simpson Company and they married in 1949. He retired from Sears Canada as a catalogue merchandiser in 1983 after which he pursued his love of family, friends, golf, and horse-racing. A memorial service will be held Sat Aug 23 at 2:00 pm at South Burnaby United Church, 7591 Gray Ave, Burnaby, BC. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Burnaby Fairhaven United Church Home, “Special Care Unit Activities.”
