Wilson Durward passed away peacefully at Mount Saint Joseph Hospital in Vancouver on July 13, 2025 at the age of 82 years.
Wilson is survived by his cousins: Allison Storey, Deborah Storey, and Terry Storey, all of Vancouver Island. He leaves behind many cousins from the Bramall side of the family in central Alberta and in New Zealand.
Wilson will be missed by Jim Rogerson, and by many friends and former colleagues in British Columbia and Ontario.
Wilson was an entertainer, writer, director, teacher, and coach to many. He had a long career as a singer and actor in Canada and in the UK. He was also a core member of the initial management team of the Evergreen Cultural Centre in Coquitlam, BC.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, 28 July, 2025 at 1:00 pm at the Columbia-Bowell Chapel, 219 - 6th Street, New Westminster, BC, V3L 3A3. A reception will follow the service.
