Bill passed away peacefully early on Dec 21st after a year struggling with complications arising out of cancer treatment. He leaves behind his wife Rhea, his brothers Glyn (Marleen), Al (Diane), his niece Shaniah (Scot), and his step-daughter Susan (Richard) & stepson Ben.
Bill was a quiet, gentle man who gave a lot to his community. Before retiring he built a career as a director in Parks & Recreation and later served as a Director of Maintenance in a Seniors Residential Facility. After retirement he served as Strata President for 10 years and pursued his passion to carve both as a student and then as a teacher.
Despite having many health concerns over the years he stood up to his suffering bravely, often downplaying the toll his ill health was taking on him. He was a much loved man and will be sorely missed.
A Memorial Service will follow at some point when the threat of Covid 19
has passed.
