Although I didn't know Brian very well as I have not been with Cisco for very long, I always enjoyed chatting with him and appreciating the rapport he had with others.
He knew I was a registered nurse, so when he fell ill again he did send me a couple of notes to get my takes on his chosen treatment path. It was an honour to be included (albeit very briefly and at a high level) in that discussion. I had just as much respect for him and his work and know that he will be dearly missed by everyone who knew him.
