Condolence: My love goes out to you and yours as you mourn the loss of your patriarch. I will always remember with awe and fondness the love I witnessed as a teen between Lora and her dad. Spending time with you and yours helped to shape how my adult self wanted a family to be. An adoring parent with a strict and loving hand to guide the young to be good people.
Silly, but one of the things I remember vividly is that Mr. Girardi gave me a magazine that was filled with pictures of Michael Jackson because he knew I loved him. I treasured it so much that I papered the back of my bedroom door with the pics. Like I said, a silly thing, but it brings a smile of joy to my face when I think about it.
That's how I remember him. Wanting to spread smiles. As you mourn the loss of this great man, don't forget to carry forward his greatness. It lives on in you.
