Thieves at the Harford's?

Ken and Dianne had been away. Donald and I, Emilienne, always assured a watchful eye over their house when they were gone. One early morning, I saw someone taking out boxes and things from their house. So, I called the police. Two policemen arrived searching the property with guns drawn out and big flashlights. They knocked on the door and Dianne opens the door in her housecoat, wondering what all the commotion was all about. It turned out that the Harford's had come back during the night, and Ken was leaving again early morning. He was the thief! The police encouraged us by saying better to be safe then sorry! Needless to say Dianne always gave us the exact date they were coming back home. We all had a good laugh!
