Mom and I found your dear Dad's obituary online this evening. We are both so sorry to hear this very sad news of his passing. He was one of the sweetest persons I have ever had the pleasure of knowing, and have many fond memories of our families together when we were children...
I will always remember the day at the Glenayre ball diamond, when your Dad was hit with a wild softball which broke his glasses. He handled the situation with such grace and was worried about you being upset more than himself being hurt. That was the kind of man and father he was - kind, always thinking of others and loving you with all his heart.
Our thoughts are with you and your family and may your Dad rest in peace.
