Obituary for Veronica Margaret Boileau (Lesage)

Veronica Margaret  Boileau (Lesage)
Veronica Margaret Boileau [nee Lesage] July 1, 1929 - July 6, 2017

Mom died peacefully at Baillie House on Thursday July 6 with family at her side.
Mom is predeceased by her husband, Regent Louis.
Mom was the last of her four siblings, Jack, Lauretta and Bill.
Mom is survived by her children Joe and Pat, Richard and Linda, Michelle and Bob;
her adored grandchildren Jason and Stephanie, Christy-Dawn and Jesse, Andrea and Cam;
her beloved great-grandchildren Kaelyn, Makai, Logan.

Mom graduated from the UBC School of Pharmacy in 1956.
Mom then took over and ran her father's Drug Store in Maillardville.
Mom and Dad started their family soon after in Maillardville as part of the Our Lady of Lourdes Parish.
After Dad died Mom moved to the Coquitlam Centre area to be closer to her grandchildren and became one of the first parishioners at St. Clare of Assisi Parish.

Mom / Grandma will be dearly remembered for her genuine kindness, grace and incredible sense of humour. She had a beautiful soul, always spreading love to those around her. She enjoyed spending her days surrounded by family and friends, sharing stories and ice cream.

Mom's favourite colour was blue, feel free to wear something blue in her memory.

We would like to express our gratitude to the staff at Baillie House for their care and compassion.

Service will be St. Clare of Assisi Parish, 1320 Johnson Street, Coquitlam, at 11:00 AM Tuesday July 18.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Society.
