Hilda Alice Lang

Our lovely mom and grandmother, Hilda Alice Lang (Steiner), born March 21, 1933, passed away peacefully in Port Moody on December 1, 2017 surrounded by family. A selfless, independent free spirit, Hilda had an endless curiosity about the world around her, and delighted in sharing her discoveries with family and friends. She was a gifted gardener, happiest spending long days in her community garden, and generous with the beautiful dahlias, raspberries, blueberries, and other wonderful treats she grew. Loved and missed by daughter Megan Jones Taylor (Ray), sons Warren (Susan), Barney (Sheilagh) and Brian (Michelle); granddaughters Michelle, Carolyn, Caragh, Maya, Courtney, Emma, and Allison; brother Hans Steiner and nieces Lori, Cheryl and Karen. Predeceased by brother Gustav Steiner. You are invited to join family and friends in a service of remembrance at 1 pm on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at St Laurence Anglican Church, 825 St Laurence St, Coquitlam BC.
