1970's Meeting My new In-Laws to Be

I started dating Velma & Bill's son Bob and married him Feb 23 1973 and shortly after had a baby girl, Charlene, on Aug 18, 1973, I felt loved by these people. Velma was a tough lady but I soon melted her heart and she was loved my me. After my divorce, I kept in contact every year, even though less over the years, I still called to chat, she always was happy to hear from me, once in awhile I ran into them shopping. I loved them loads, so sad when I heard of her passing and saw not much written her for her and wanted to share how wonderful Velma was to me. Velma and her daughter Barb even came to my daughter's first baby shower so she got to met and hold Ava Morgan, she didn't get to met her second granddaughter through my side, Jade Morgan. I feel her smiling down now as I write this, miss you, you will always be in my thoughts forever...Love Debbie & Charlene, Ava & Jade.
