A year has passed and still the pain and feeling of loss linger on. Remember that your mother is safe and pain free, and she would want you to be happy and at peace.too. Best wishes as you develop new traditions during these special times of the year.

Dear Ann,
Unfortunately, I didn't get to know you as well as I would like to, but I have the pleasure of knowing your daughter who considered you her best friend. Knowing how kind and considerate Vicki is, I am sure you were a wonderful mom and a very positive influence in her life. I hope you are enjoying your celestial reward, meeting loved ones long gone, and finding the peace that surpasses all understanding.

Dear Dave and daughters....accept my sympathy on the loss of your beloved wife and mother Ann.
She was a shining light when ever she came to the Coop, always a smile and a kind word.
One or the other must leave,
One or the other must stay.
One or the other must grieve,
That is forever the way..
That is the vow that was sworn,
Faithful ‘TIL death do us part.
Braving what had to be borne..
Hiding the ache in the heart...
One, howsoever adored.
First must be summoned away.
That is the will of the Lord
One or the other must stay.

Our condolences go out to the family of Ann Stuart. It's never easy losing one you care about, whether it's family or a friend. We first met Ann & her family around 1971/72 when they moved in next door to us in the trailer park we were living in on Vancouver Island in the Courtenay area. During the next few years we became good friends. Over time we went our separate ways but tried to stay in contact. The last time my wife & I saw Ann & her husband Dave was in July of 1986. I got to see the two of them one more time in September of 1994 on one of my rare trips back to the Island before life got complicated & we lost contact with each other. Fortunately, after Ann passed, her family managed to get hold of us for which we are very grateful. Ann was a good friend & we were very sad to hear of her passing. Once again our condolences to the family & our thoughts & best wishes will be with you during this time of grieving.

To my dear friend Vicki and her family, I want to extend my sincere condolences for your loss. Although we never met, I will always remember Ann for her fluency in pig Latin...a lost art that lives on in her daughter. I hope that knowing her suffering is over gives you all some small comfort during your painful moments of loss.
