Obituary for Annette Beatrice Halldorson

Annette Beatrice Halldorson
HALLDORSON, ANNETTE BEATRICE
(nee FLOM)
September 19, 1932—February 27, 2017

We sadly announce the sudden passing of our cherished MOM and BABA.
She passed peacefully, after many courageous battles with her health over the last number of years.
Family was everything for Mom and she will be missed by her brother Monty (Mary Beth,) her children Joy ( Gary,) John (Anne,) Candy (Brian,) Fred (Heidi,) and Rena, as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews & friends.

Mom was born in Winnipeg & moved to Burnaby with her own young family in the mid 60’s. She was involved with the Army & Navy Club for a number of years, sharing her love of cooking as she ran the snack bar.
Mom spent the remainder of her working career as a beloved Noon Hour Supervisor at Lakeview Elementary, where she was also known as “Soop.”
Mom continued her love of cooking till the end, and will be remembered for her phenomenal pickles.

We thank the many healthcare providers over the years, & particularly Dr. Julia Reynolds.
No service by request, a private celebration of life to be held with family.
