Condolence: I'm so sorry to hear about Asha's passing in 2015. I only found out about a year ago (2019), when I had a dream of her. I couldn't figure out why I had a dream of her as we had a falling out in 2009 and didn't speak anymore. When I tried to find Asha online, I came across this obituary and my heart stopped. Coincidentally about a week after I discovered this, I saw her mom, Gloria, at Macy's in Bellingham, WA where we shared a hug and I told her I had no idea Asha was gone. I truly believe it was a sign from her telling me that she was okay. I met Asha in 2002 when we both worked at Just Ladies Fitness. We became good friends and shared many laughs over 7 years. I feel terrible that we never reconciled. With her birthday being tomorrow, I felt I had to write something to her and to her family. She was such a wonderful person and I miss her and think of her often.

Condolence: After losing touch with Asha over the years, I was saddened to find that a long lost friend has passed away. I decided to search for her tonight only to find a huge loss to everyone who knew and cherished this beautiful soul. Asha you and I met way back when, we danced together, laughed together and most of all loved being around one another. My most fond memories are of you and I sitting in an office laughing our butts off only to be split up so we could get some actual work done. To Asha's family and friends, I am so sorry for everyone's loss. I know she surrounds herself around everyone each and everyday giving her unconditional love. Asha i can't wait to dance with you again. Sending all my love.

Condolence: I'm so blessed to have been able to work with and get to know Asha not only as a great co worker but an amazing woman. Asha provided me with so much encouragement and support at work. I never had to worry when she was there I always knew she had my back. Taking breaks together and venting were always the best. Breakfast at Denny's on the weekend. I wouldn't have been able to get through my early PASU days if it wasn't for her support and guidance. Like others I am waiting for her to return from a vacation or see her name on the sign in. I know you are in a better place Asha but we will all miss you deeply ❤️

Condolence: My thoughts and prayers are with Asha's family. Not a minute has passed where I haven't thought of you Asha. I met you in 2011 when I joined the Mental Health Program. Every time I saw you, your face lit up with a wonderful smile! I know your passing has left us all in a state of sadness. You have touched many lives at SPH and will be dearly missed. Thinking of you now and always. Jen

Condolence: My deepest condolence on your terrible loss. Nobody should pass away
so young. We did not know your daughter that well. We just knew her by
name. Even so my hearts breaks for her parents. It is a terrible thing to
have your child go before you. I can not imagine the despair you are
feeling but know that our thought are with you. May this beautiful child
be in a better place where love surrounds her.

Condolence: I met Asha at work in 2011. As some people know, over the years, we haven't always got along. Mostly this was because we share a strong sense of justice and a stubborn streak. But, even when we did disagree on the floor, she always cared enough to take me aside after and make sure we were okay. Usually within a few minutes we'd be laughing about it.
I think that speaks to what kind of person was. Tough?...sometimes..sure, yet at her core she was truly caring, compassionate and sensitive.
Always poised and professional but still quick witted and funny. Asha kept you on your toes.
Our work isn't easy. Asha, like the rest of us, could sometimes be the target of abuse from patients. However, she never lost her temper, seldom lost her composure and kept coming back, day after day, with a smile, a joke, and a positive word . You don't do that unless you really believe in the work.
I don't know what happened or why but I do know that only God knows the full weight and measure of our lives.
You did a lot of good in your short time. May you be welcomed into the next life. May you find peace.
