Condolence: To the Foerster Family, I just found out about dear Doug's passing. I am truly saddened and in shock. He was so full of life with a glint in his eye, and a quick joke . We would have 2 hour laugh fests when he was able to get to my office. When we first met, we got to talking and shortly after that realized we lived in the same area of Richmond as very young children. He was so caring when I had to go for some surgery. I will always remember how he cared about everyone, especially his family. He spoke of his son with such love and was very proud of him. I will miss his smiling face very much.

Condolence: I am still in shock! Mrs. Foerster, Tyler, and the Foerster family, my sincerest condolences. While I did not see Doug as often as we would have liked, I did have dinner with him four or five times a year at the Burnaby Keg. We got there at 5:00 PM and closed the place down. There was never a pause in the conversation. I truly looked forward to those dinners. Tyler, there was never a time when he did not speak of you with pride. Doug was amongst a small number of people I would consider a best friend and he will be missed.

Condolence: To the Foerster Family:

We were very saddened, and shocked, to hear that Doug passed away. Doug had a great sense of humour who always loved to chat and laugh. He was a good friend and we'll always remember his kindness and the good times we shared together. Our thoughts are with you and your family at this time.
With heartfelt sympathy
